Format Descriptions:

Q&A: Straightforward question and answer format. This kicks off every standard 5-round game.

SOUND: Ten clips with one theme. Can you name the artist? Or identify the censored lyric? Maybe you have to name the Broadway show!

VISUAL: Identifying brands and book titles, solving rebus puzzles, recognizing celebrities from their caricatures. If it’s visual in nature it might show up in this round.

BEFORE & AFTER: Two answers share a word or syllable (the end of one and beginning of the next), creating one longer answer. You may know this style from Jeopardy! or Wheel of Fortune.

FILL IN THE BLANK: Just like it sounds, we give you a range of content and you have to fill in the blank. From song lyrics to scientific groupings, famous quotes to famous award winners, and anything in between.

HOMOPHONES: Homophones sound the same but are entirely separate words, for example to, too, and two. Figure out which homophones we’re describing, and it’s up to you if spelling counts!

INTERPRET THE HAIKU: We turn a haiku into a wry clue. Can you figure out the answer?

INTERPRET THE LIMERICK: It’s like Interpret the Haiku, but with limericks instead!

ODD ONE OUT: One of these things is not like the others! Name the odd one out.

TIME TO RHYME: Every answer is a two-word rhyming phrase. If your answer doesn’t rhyme, it isn’t right!
